After working for several years as an Art Director in advertising agencies in Chile and Spain, Jose decided to take an independent path in his career. As an illustrator he has channeled his creativity passionately and freely, allowing him to explore art in its purest form.

Carcavilla. Passionately self-taught, his love for illustration and artistic creation has led him on a constant journey of learning and exploration. His works have been exhibited in various galleries, he has participated in design projects, collaborated with publishers and audiovisual projects. His focus on illustration and design has made him a versatile and in-demand artist in the creative industry.
Jose immerses himself in his creative process without restrictions, letting himself be guided by the pencil and imagination. In his world, a vibrant palette of colours is displayed, along with fantastic creatures, fun scenes with a touch of humour added to each stroke.
